The transmission of radio programmes in Turkmenistan is runned by NTRC National Television and Radio Company, a state corporation entrusted with the realization of
radio and television services. Radio programmes are broadcasted essentially in Turkmen, anyway for the Russian-speaking population resident in the country there is the Rus-sian
language channel Mayak.
